The Transaction Summary provides an overview of all transactions processed within your business. It displays high-level metrics, helping you track total transaction value, success rates, pending amounts, and declined transactions. With these insights, you can monitor your financial performance at a glance.
Key Sections of the Transaction Summary
Overview Metrics:
- Processed Transaction: Total monetary value of transactions processed within the selected date range.
- Successful Transaction: The value of transactions successfully completed.
- Pending Transaction: Transactions that have been initiated but are not yet completed.
- Declined Transaction: Transactions that were not approved or failed due to errors.
Transactions Insights:
- A graphical representation of transaction trends over time.
- Toggle between Daily, Weekly, or Monthly trends to view performance over specific periods.
- Use this feature to track peaks and drops in transaction activity.
Customizing Your Transaction Summary
You can personalize the Transaction Summary using the following tools:
Date Range:
- Select predefined options such as Today, Yesterday, Last Week, Last Month, or set a Custom Date Range for precise analysis.
Transaction Value or Count:
- Transaction Value: Displays monetary totals for processed, successful, pending, or declined transactions.
- Transaction Count: Shows the number of transactions within each category.
Currency Selector:
- Switch between currencies (e.g., NGN or USD) for better financial tracking.
Filters:
- Use the filter option to refine your summary by:
- Transaction Status: Successful, Pending, Declined.
- Customer Details: Search for specific customer transactions.
- Channels: Narrow data by transaction channels such as payment links or invoices.
Transaction List
The Transaction List provides a detailed view of all transactions processed within the selected date range. It complements the summary by offering granular insights into individual transactions.
Key Sections of the Transaction List
Transaction Details:
- Date: The date and time the transaction occurred.
- Transaction ID: A unique identifier for each transaction.
- Merchant Reference: Additional reference details for tracking.
- Customer Name: The name of the customer involved in the transaction.
- Service: The service or product tied to the transaction.
- Status: Indicates if the transaction was successful, pending, or declined.
- Amount: Total value of the transaction.
- Method: The payment method used (e.g., card, invoice).
- Channel: How the payment was made (e.g., payment link, invoice).
Download Report:
- Export transaction data for offline analysis or sharing with stakeholders.
Customizing Your Transaction List
Just like the summary, the transaction list can be tailored to your needs:
Date Range:
- View transactions within a specific period using predefined or custom ranges.
Filters:
- Filter by Status, Customer, Method, or Channel to view specific transactions.
Show/Hide Columns:
- Choose which details (e.g., Transaction ID, Customer Name, Amount) appear on your screen.
Currency Selector:
- View transaction amounts in your preferred currency (e.g., NGN or USD).
