    • Fees are capped at NGN 2100, ensuring you never pay more than that per transaction.
  2. International Transactions

    • Enables you to receive payments from customers worldwide.
    • Funds are settled within a week.
  3. Custom Options

Who Bears the Fees?

In your payment settings, you can decide whether you or your customers bear the transaction fees. This flexibility allows you to optimize customer experience or manage costs more effectively.

How to Configure Fee Responsibility

  1. Navigate to the Settings tab in the left-hand menu.
  2. Select the Payment section.
  3. Toggle the setting for "Should fees be added to the customer's price during purchase?"
    • ON: The customer pays the transaction fee.
    • OFF: Your business absorbs the fee as part of the total transaction amount.

This option ensures you can tailor your payment experience to align with your business model.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What happens if I choose to absorb the fees?

  • The fees will be deducted from the total transaction amount before the remaining funds are settled into your account.

2. If customers pay the fees, how is it displayed?

  • The transaction fee is added to the customer's total price during checkout, ensuring transparency.

3. Are international fees the same as local transaction fees?

  • No. International transactions are charged at a flat 3.9%, while local transactions follow a 1.5% + NGN 100 model with caps and waivers.

4. What is the NGN 100 waiver for local transactions?

  • For transactions below NGN 2000, the NGN 100 flat fee is waived, reducing the total transaction fee for small-value transactions.

5. Can I request a custom pricing plan?

  • Yes. If your business processes high volumes or unique payment types, you can contact our sales team to discuss custom pricing options.
